My grandpa.
I know, I know, it's just a boring portrait from a photo reference, grandpa is faaar from being handsome or sexy, it's not interesting at all. But I'm really happy with it. Since I found grandpa's passport and saw this photo, I wanted to draw it, with him smirking like that XD And to my surprise I suceeded, because it really looks like him *3* He was always totally grumpy and scary, but animals loved him and he loved watching soap operas XD Near the end of his life he started to tell me some stories from his childhood and man, he was one mischievous kid! 8D; Too bad didn't live longer to tell me more. This picture sums some of my firsts: -first time doing a CG portrait/any color portrait from photo ref -first time drawing someone from my family -first time using Oils and Artist's Oils in Painter to paint something I know it's pretty flat and boring... but I dun care, I like it XD How active I am! Don't you feel like I'm too lively? Spamming yer inboxes? Annoying? 8D |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
